I'm glad to hear IH sent you a check!

If I was you I would fight tooth and toenail to get your original cylinder back, for two reasons.
First off, that is your cylinder, plain and simple. You paid for it, not IH.
Second, as we all know he didn't lose that cylinder! I would bet the farm that he is going to stick that cylinder on a "special" saw (more than likely for buckin stock, or for someone really "special") and gloat that he did the port work.
