To be honest the part of this whole story that has really given me the creeps is the sick and blind cult/celebrity worship layed on these guys. Vouching for the honesty of some youtuber you've never met and showering them with praise is not the workings of a sound mind. Lotta those guys are makng these kool-aid fueled judgements based on what? They miss their Sat morning cartoon shows from when they were kids? And look at how many guys who know so little about chainsaws can congregate in the same place soaking in every sermon the good Rev Ironwhores spouts out.

I've seen some of this with Walt's channel as well. Lot of these "geez, i don't know how' I'd ever be able to cut wood without you" crap. Some directed at me. Seriously gives me the CREEPS. Really don't want him pointing that damn video camera at me anymore. I'm really not sociable enough for social media anyway, so I don;t care. But there's an awful lot of very strange psychology at work with this stuff, that's for sure.

I’m sorry for sidetrack on this thread, very glad Jesse is getting a refund and I figured the cylinder was “lost”. Looking forward to some cut videos of the 390

He answered my call yesterday morning and told me that there will be a check in the mail the end of this week which would have it arrive early next week. He claims the top end is missing it may have been throw out

he didnt throw the cylinder out he either put it on another saw or shipped it to someone else

It’s on a personal saw and will be touted as his “special recipe”. Which we all know he won’t be able to duplicate.

And posted about a stalker
That harassed him for over a year
And was worried about him and his family's safety and what was going to happen.
I don't see how it's worth the risk
Living your life on YouTube.
But the unskilled scam money grabbers
Have found a new source of income.

I quickly noticed reading comments on BBR & PMP videos that these 'followers' who have never done ANY business or ever met their idol cult like leaders say some strange deep stuff. Usually in normal peoples lives glowing endorsment are earned/created through rapore after many dealings between two parties. Many msg them to say how watching their YT-vids 'changed their life' or got them through a 'real dark period of their life', (these are redneck axe and saw vids FFS!) Its weird! The amount of subs that without ANY facts or knowledge jumped to conclusion IH would never be dishonest or do anyone wrong & that Jesse either didn't know how to run a saw or the 'forum guys' were just out to tear up IH was astounding. They didn't even want to know the facts, its like they enjoyed having their head buried in the sand. Its creepy to the extent they almost stop thinking in willful ignorant bliss. Perfect place for a crook to groom victims. We all saw Marsha not accept a single thing that tarnished his idol leader even when it was put right in front of him. I think its sad how shallow members of society have become. I was going to post a few days ago fat chance IH will hand over that OEM cylinder. Not for its cost/worth but if he did he knows it would get inspected and his game would be up. As for 'checks in the mail', well that's a standard practice term for any fraudster. Amazing how easy it was to pay the guy $600 through PP but to get a refund checks need to be sent in the mail . Its standard delaying tactic we've all heard before...then the check must have got lost...I'll post another...I'm surprised it hasn't arrived...etc...etc. But that Cylinder he PUBLICALLY said he would return, that was NEVER gonna happen, he knows exactly where it is! I like the vid where he self vindicated himself! That was laughable at best but to his followers who couldn't change a spark plug who line up for the daily serman, they swollowed every bit of it.

I’m a farrier by trade I cut logs in the winter because it’s a slow time but I may be getting a full time logging job so a several more saws may be in my future.

I think it should be focused on....on a go forward basis, the tenants of professionalism.

#1 you give the customer back their old / broken parts with the repaired unit (fuel and air filters included)
