Jackstand for log splitter

I have a 25 ton SpeeCo log splitter, and with each year that passes, it gets harder for me to hook it up and unhook it from the trailer hitch on my pickup and lawn tractor. Is anyone familiar with a jackstand that can be mounted on it without being getting in the way the the front folding leg?

Maybe some sort of dolly? Mines low so this works great for around the property. Off site just pull it into a ramped utility trailer.

Thanks for your reply, sixonetonoffun. I have a dolly like that, but even hooking and unhooking it to the dolly can be a challange. My splitter is super heavy.

What about a removable trailer jack?
Or just a left field idea here, if you have the room could you find some old suitcase weights and have them hanging out behind the axle to counter balance the tongue weight?

Where at? I'm in Fargo now and they wouldn't know what a tree looks like in the valley. In the process of relocating east of here to where the trees are.

Harvey, ND. Except for shelter belts, no trees there either.

Probably the most simple thing would be a swing around crank type trailer jack which are about 40-50 dollars . I should have used the type with the crank on the side not on the top.

The drop leg sucks balls. Weld a jack to it, you’ll wonder why you hadn’t done it sooner.not a great picture but you get the idea…

At one time I had sort of a stiff leg that worked to a point but due to the fact I was a lot younger when I built that splitter it got so it was a chore to use it.I got older and it seemed to get heavier .
