Still can't upload pics here. I'd love to post some. I'm on a laptop 90% of the time and my camera is in the 7mb range. When I select upload, I get the option to find my photo and after I select it, the progress bar goes the whole way through to 100% but then it doesn't change from there. No option to post thumb/full.
My photobucket account is almost maxed and I won't meander to another host site. resizing every pic I have isn't really an option either.

Hope some settings can be tweaked. Most other forums I participate in allow me to upload with no issue. Res is typically 5200x3900ish. Not looking to post tremendous sized pics either, just want to be able to share.
TIA

Download yourself a photo resizer and resize your photos if you don't already have the software to do it.

Too much hassle just to upload pics to 1 forum. A simple adjustment should be easier seeing as the forum software can do it.

Really appreciate it. All my pics look to be in the low 7mb range.

Just tried one. Same results. Took a screenshot. Is there a max resolution setting along with file size?

I had trouble too. Had to resize, then end up with tiny attachment. I found it best to just upload to photobucket, then copy the img. That way the pic appears in the post with no need to click on it to enlarge. Just my experience...

Only way I could do it from my cell was to download photo resizer from play store.

That massive footprint is the problem.
Not looking to post tremendous sized pics either
The pixel dimensions 5200 x 3900 would be almost the size of the wall in my office! (exaggeration :risas3:) Resolution is different. That's the number of pixels per inch, i.e. how clear an image would be. You're not actually referring to resolution, you're referring to one big mama of a photo. Too big for a Web page, and WAY too slow for our viewers to load on their devices. Sorry, but as it stands, you'll have to resize those biggies before posting.

Our max width and height is set to 2400. That should be plenty big enough, and still "loadable" for viewers on all devices.

I've just removed the forum's use of Flash Uploader. That may have been a problem for some who use Mac devices.
