I know I’m probably overreacting and jumping to conclusions in this, I guess it’s just human nature when you know something ain’t right but yet you don’t have any answers. Kinda makes a man feel uneasy about things! Thanks again folks for being a sounding board!
Morning men. Thank you gents for the comments, concerns, prayers. Just got off the phone making an appt to see my family practice doctor this afternoon and he’s going to write me a referral to a specialist/pulmonologist friend of his in Macon, Ga.
You tell him Mr Stumpy.......I'm just to mad [emoji36]Good to hear you are going to see the Doc. GWS Jason.
I was diagnosed with COPD (emphysema) 10 years ago. My lung capacity is at roughly 55% and I've never experienced pain like you say. I just lose my breath and risk passing out (or worse) so I need to listen to my body. I do get a tightness in my upper chest (behind the sternum) that is uncomfotable.I don’t know if it’s COPD or cancer...I don’t know right yet! When I take a full inhale, my left lung wants to get real tight, real fast. It’s gets a little painful...
Did they give you half a clue what's going on Jason?Dr’s appt went well this afternoon gents...have an appt with a pulmonologist this Thurs.
Doc said it’s just the after effects of going through pneumonia basically...especially if they tap into your lung(s) to drain/remove any fluid. I’ll see a specialist this Thurs and hopefully everything will be ok.Did they give you half a clue what's going on Jason?
Well that's great news. It sounds like you just need more time to heal up.Doc said it’s just the after effects of going through pneumonia basically...especially if they tap into your lung(s) to drain/remove any fluid. I’ll see a specialist this Thurs and hopefully everything will be ok.
