I'll have to go back and check later. I basically set it up trying to avoid the strap as much as possible. Where that landed I don't know.

Oh yeah, I got that part down. It's just I wasn't paying attention to what notch or marker point I had it in.

Also tomorrow I am going to pick up some wing nuts to use as backers on some of screws.
I just use a piece of fuel hose to preload the threads, keeps the adjusters from moving and keeps it easy to adjust

That’s a great idea. I’ve got one side stop bolt that vibrates loose all the time. Drives me nuts
I did a very similar thing...

As I was working my way though the chains I can across one of the 3/8th I had done by hand. I had set the rakers too low and I didn't want to take the teeth back by hand.

But now with the grinder it was a breeze. I've dropped the teeth and I've cut the straps alittle.

Work chain? Or race chain?
I see tie straps all rounded...

Starting as a race chain I did the straps yesterday. It was a chain I had made hand filing too aggressive and I didn't want to take back the teeth by hand. So I hung it on the wall. Came across it the other day as I was going though sharpening.
