No it seems shiny, no pits

Suck o matic is how I clean crank cases
And bolt holes on dirty saws. This is suck o 2.0. It uses a new fuel filter.

I figured it would give me throat cancer,
Both are better than the mouth full
Of saw crud .....

The air filter media was gone....
The piston was shot

Ok, me thinks that foggy or haze is from long term fine particulate ingestion....yes starting to fail ,showing wear

Nah, bearings are overrated. Just run it at 16:1 and you'll be fine.

The pin and bearing had a gray look
Tto them, but the inside of the rod looks good
