Just grabbed some stuff close by.

One set is an older Caber ring packed from tubes by HLS. They have no markings.

The Cabers in Meteor kits are marked different than some of the Cross rings from Caber. Cross might be buying bulk ring tubes and etching or it looks more like engraving them. My pics with a flash show up dark but the angle shot shows the dimples from being hammered by engraving not etched by lasers imo.
Enjoy

I'll take more when my building stuffs is happening.

My pics suck today

Edit.

The Etched ring markings almost disappeared with a flash on. Those are the dark pics.
I moved nothing around while shooting them so look closer. Caber is using at least two ring marking methods. One old and a one newer. They look different.

I'm sure if your a big customer, Caber would package their items in your brands packaging.
Multiple LARGE companies I have worked for did it all the time.
It was a large percentage of their business.
Happens all the time in industry.

Yes cabers can be bought in separate itemised bags or in rolls (ie 100 rings in a roll)

I was reading that catalog, and in amongst it all, rings are a price and separately packaging is another. So I guess big companies will just do it in-house .And tubes of rings is smaller than bags and bags of rings.

I was a maintenance man @ a soybean plant once & they didn't even have their own brand!
They just processed & packaged for other companies.
All packaging was Kroger, Costco ect...

Well some companies buy in bulk unmarked. Keeping track of their quality controls is not possible for us the end user. This where trusting your suppliers and in turn they trust theirs. The monkey wrench comes from the dishonest creep trying to make a buck by slipping in counterfeits. That will never change imo.

The packed individually sealed rings are Etched with hollow balloon style fonts now or not marked. The older etching just looks different in the script type. The update was to avoid the counterfeiting imo.

The fake is easy to spot most times if you go get a 3x or 5x lens and observe the ring facing that was added. Your not faking that.

My dad ran new silver oil filters in cases with no markings to several parts manufacturers in the AM buss like Purolator (sp), Fram and so on. Same chit different advertiser or company name.

Three companies used to make hydraulic cam lifters for the big three car companies here. Whomever is doing it now has factory problems and that isn't good on 2020 and 2021 models. Ed has been posting pics of grenades almost brand new.

I hear ya.
I'm suspect of everything in this scam world.

Wal Mart as an example.
They dictate what adjustments they want in a item.
Buy a rifle that is all steel internally anywhere else, but at Walmart certain parts may be plastic internally.
$ talks.

Sickening that a $7 ring has to be questioned, but that's the world we live in!

I've contacted Meteor Caber and simply asked if Huztl Farmertec is a licensed Caber re-seller.

I'll report back if they reply.
That's the best way. I'm not asking. They keep bugging me to be a distributor. I said no... just meet my terms and sell me boxes of parts. I will not be responsible for those blue saws. Ain't gonna do it!

The ones I have that are marked look similar to the farmertec pic but the letters are slanted a bit.
