Complaining about parts quality in the kits is like calling the police because your drug dealer ripped you off by diluting your drugs.

That being said I have had great "luck" with my kits. It's luck. If I had a bad part I would look for better A.M. or get oem.

I’ve bought over 10 saw kits. Some small parts missing at times. But the issue I have was I decided to try a complete assemble saw, it arrived damaged, they offer a one year warranty on the saw, but won’t cover or send new parts to cover the badly damaged ones

What did they want you to do ? ship the entire saw back?

They want me to repair or straighten and live with the way it is. Any other company would ship out another saw and have me ship damaged one back

My guess to the ms 660 failure would be the pto bearing has play
