The 572 one doesn't contain a SB section, so the update likely just is a correction (or something like that).

Here's a few Husqvarna Workshop Manuals.

I've got my hands on a workshop manual that covers my old husky 61 rancher, but I have yet to find much for my 266 se. It does however cover the 268.. Any light you could shed would be awesome. The thing has an air leak and I'm not foolish enough to tear it apart without something to refer to. For now I'll try and figure out which parts list is applicable.

The 61 or 268 are just nearly the same as your 266. Just go for it.....

Check your inbox. The service manual is for the 61,266 and 268. Added a small clymer service manual that includes the 266.

Never found one, don't believe they ever had a service manual for the saw.

The 36 and 41 are covered in the Husqvarna workshop manual and should give enough information to get you through.
