I have a Model 65 Husky TOMOS (Yugoslavian Manufactured) Saw as well as Several Swedish 65l & 0650 Model Saws. On Most of these Saws the Plastic Handle that Mounts the Throttle Trigger/Lever is Secured to the Rear of these Saw Bodies on the Top Part of the Handle Directly behind the Carb by 2 Metric Hex Head Bolts. These Bolts are held in Place and Hold the Upper Part of the Handle to the Rear of the Saw Body by way of Round Threaded Tube/Pipe which runs through three Seperate Plastic Parts on the Top of the Rear Handle. Most of the Saws, I Can remove or Push this Threaded Metal Tube Out Through the 3 Seperate Plastic Handle Parts but on the Tomos Mage Saw, For some Reason I Can Not Remove the Left Side Bolt from this Threaded Tube/Pipe which Hold the Top of the Handle. On all the Other Saws I can Push this Metal Threaded Tube/Pipe right Through the Plastic Handle Parts but on the Tomos Model it wont move & i Don't want to Break the Handle. am Currently Soaking the Top of the Handle in Penetrating Oil. Could anyb one tell me how to remove this Handle Correctly

Hi Kelly, the 2 hex bolts are screwed into the pipe on each side .there is a pin you have to remove
at the U shaped end I believe. If it brakes ,I will give you one . They are rare! When Gavin comes here,
I can send one with him.

hey Keith: I have checked Several IPL's for 65 Model but I haven' t seen a Pin in the Top of the Handle where this Threaded Rod Goes Through however my Handle on the Top where the Throttle Lever is (Trigger) only has 1 Tang Sticking up where Must have 2 and it doesn't appear it has ever Been broken?

Exactly Keith, my other 3-4 Swedish Made 65 Model come apart with not to much Difficulty. I removed one of the Bolts and a Spacer of Sorts and the Threaded Rod which seem to be Aluminium pushed right Through allowing me to Remove the Handle Assembly. on the 65L Tomos it is Stuck in somehow. I did notice that on some of the Other 65 or 650 Models that this Rod was Bent Slightly so i am going to let some Penetrating Oil soak in. Just don't want to Break Plastic Parts around the Handle & Trigger/Throttle

Figured it out, The Threaded Rod in the Handle can only come out on one side of the Crank Housing (Left to Right) would you know the Tread Size &* Pitch on the Flywheel side of a 65L?
