Husqvarna fuel filter FYI

I'm tired of buying OEM fuel filters at my dealer for $8. So I've been hunting. I ordered a hand full of the Farmertec/huztl for cheap. I cant get them on OEM fuel line to save my life. Today while at Northerntool, I found an Oregon on the shelf for 4.99, cant find it on their web site. It was made in the US. However the best deal I found was a shop pack of 10 Stens 610-225. They are US made, and the ones I ordered are about 2.60 each. If I'n not mistaken the Husqvarna's are made in the US as well. Stens also sells singles 610-220.

Try ordering from Rotary, they look identical to the husky.

A drop of oil will do the trick.
Otherwise Oregon has a filter some shops are using.

I've been using these with no problems so far. They're weighted, and being a cloth type of filter media there doesn't seem to be anything to deteriorate

I’ve seen some oddball fuel filters...some the nipple will take normal 1/8” ID x 3/16” OD line...others you can get 3/32” ID x 3/16” OD on without any problem.
