What exactly is an M2? Is it considered outstanding? And proven? How does it compare to a 346?

How does it compare to a 346?

It’s a nice little saw. I would say it is a improvement over the old 550. A very smooth running saw. A muffler mod wakes it up nicely.

It's more reliable, heavier and bit more powerfull than the 550 mark 1. I found the weight difference with my 353 (tuned down 346xp) noticeable.
