Can’t beat that. I think I’ve seen just the 46mm piston for more than that on Partstree.

Agreed, I bought a 55 (closed port/decomp) new in 1996, technically these are NLA, but so few of these saws were actually killed there are a bunch of new OEM available. I squirreled one away last year off eBay. Since then I added a 51 to the saw hoard.

If it's a 46mm with decomp, I may be interested. I have an aftermarket one on my 55. It runs really good but just doesn't have quite the power it should I don't think.
