Ohhh....I didn't realize it was tri-link. We sold that stuff where I worked, when people saw the price of the bar and chains they would flock over to it (because its cheaper). When asked I would tell them that I would only use tri-link (bars and chains) if I knew I was going to be in the dirt and was going to throw it away when I was done. The cutters are a bit soft. The only thing tri-link I recommended was the files for the depth-gauges.Don’t buy tractor supply stuff, tri-link makes it and as bad as the chains are the bar is worse.

Milwaukee was selling Oregon chain with their products, DeWalt was selling Tri-link....recently DeWalt has switched to Oregon.
