Hi, folks,
I’m new here and only joined about a week ago. I didn’t expect to post much, but I have a question and would appreciate all of your insight
I have eyes on a pretty clean bone stock Dolmar 7300. I’ve never run one, nor know of anybody who has. However, I have and have run the following saws, and would like to know how the Dolmar 7300 compares, mainly with respect to speed and torque:
-bone stock Husqvarna 372 XPW (75cc)
-mildly ported Husqvarna 372 XPW (75cc), ported with an emphasis on torque as opposed to chain speed
-Master Mind 372XP
Additionally, are they reliable?
Side note, I also have eyes on a pretty clean bone stock Jonsered 820 as well from a different seller. I understand that’s a different cc class, but any info on that would be appreciated as well.
I’m a big firewood cutter in the hardwoods of Pennsylvania, and I love torquey saws with generally broader powerbands as opposed to peaky powerbands in the high-RPM range. All of the above saws wear 24” bars, and my intention for the Dolmar and/or Jonsered would also be 24”.
Thank you all so much for your time and information!
