I am a hack but I wire wheeled the paint off. Dressed the bar. Left it on top of the wood stove to warm it. Wiped it with acetone. Warmed again and used Brownells oxpho on the one for Andy and birch wood Casey super blue on the second. At this point I prefer the Brownells.

Do you hang it and do both sides @ once or one @ a time? Lay it on thick and wipe the remaining after a while or nice smooth layer? I'm definitely going to try this on the roller bar I have.

I fastened it in my vice and did all except the bar pad area. Both sides then went back to that later.

Cool thanks for the tips. So the wire wheel didn't leave the bar too scratched up then?
