Husqvarna 353 parts saw or rebuilder, decent shape. Piston looks excellent through exhaust port, BUT, one of the threads for muffler bolts is stripped. Saw is dirty and muffler is dented, only one muffler bolt included. I also have a new 353 Cylinder kit available as well. Asking $200 for saw and $125 for cylinder kit, or $300 for the whole shootin match, plus shipping.

I'm now working on a 350 that has lousy compression (55 psi) and won't start, of course. Looks like it needs a complete top-end rebuild. I've done this to two others and my own 353. Never easy and always a challenge, but I figure these saws are worth fixing. My sleeves are rolled up. Any suggestions? TIA.

Greats saws. Nothing like a good quick sale! Been a bit of a ghost town lately.

My rebuild is complete. Compression measures 145 psi. Saw starts and runs perfectly. Bought a new carb but the old one is working fine. Not much is more rewarding than a successful repair. Cheers!
