SOLD Husqvarna 272xp

272xp bought at county auction. It looked like it sat a while in a dirty environment. I blew it out with compressed air, did not take the sidecovers off so it would be advantageous to take off the starter cover and blow out the crud under neath yet. I drained the old fuel and put in fresh non ethonal mix with a drizzle of seafoam for its first round. Did blow out the air filter, removed the spark plug cleaned and gapped. Has good compression, starts, runs, idles. I cut about 25 minutes dead white oak, worked fine. It does leak gas when on its side and over 1/4 full. It sounds like it could use a little richer adjustment on the low speed screw but will need pull the limiter cap the way it felt. No other known issues but that doesn't mean for sure there isn't. Comes with a 20in bar and chain I'd guess 30 to 50% life left.
Price as is $265. + the ride. If it doesn't sell soon, i intend to fix and finish cleaning it up and adding to the price.

Was asked to pull the muffler and did. Its leading up to more time as will have it 1 thing leads to another, can't see putting it back together without doing a decent job cleaning the crud out and checking it over better. Its becoming a better saw and the price is about to increase if no one drops the trigger soon I may just replace the fuel line and pretty it up.
Piston is nice , no notable blow buy or damage, little wear. Sprocket rim looks close to its limit. I have rims. Looking for the fuel leak, its wet around the fuel line where it goes in the tank,vent looks good. Not known for sure but replacing the fuel line may solve the problem.

I am sure theres vultures would like me to fix and restore it for them to scarf it up for the as is price i gave with a reasonable evaluation. I was upfront in the original post what i intend.

Was up to 5AM 2 nights evaluating and getting little more then few saws running and that hasn't been the end.
