can someone help identify the correct part # for the anti vibe buffer I think it is called the goes in the frontmost part of fuel tank/handle opposite the spring on a 1991 262xp?
The only part # I can find is 503524101 see below
problem is it is smaller than the broken part I removed see next picture. The new part just falls out of the hole it goes into and even if I wanted to use it the attachment screw would not tighten because it it so loose it would just spin.
Thanks in advance

I don't know about part number, however the new AV buffer pictured is the correct buffer. The bolt/screw that holds it to the crankcase is short. Not sure of the length in mm. If too long the threads bottom out in the buffer and it will spin.
The buffers are made to fit loose in the handle. The new buffer will swell like the old one after it is exposed to bar oil and gas/oil mix.

I think those shorties are 12mm. Same for all those husky AVs

Why is there a white plastic washer/spacer on the forward bar stud of a new 3 series saw?

Hah! I thought I was starting a thread in the Husqvarna section and ended up tagging along on this one. Probably will work just as well. I'm curious what purpose this spacer serves. I've seen photos of saws with it on either stud. Why offset the clutch cover? Why take a chance on a new customer running a saw with it on there?
