Hi everyone, I’m new here. I looking for some help with a k970 concrete saw. Bought it not running as a project. It has 130 psi compression (4 pulls), has spark, but won’t fire up. I took apart the RWJ-7 carb and cleaned/new seals with no change. It has a new bpmr7a spark plug. I pulled the flywheel to check the woodrift key, which looks fine. The magnets on the flywheel appear to be passing the magneto at top dead center. I’ve taken off the exhaust, which appears to be clear, and the cylinder/piston looks fine. I’ve sprayed starting fluid into the cylinder, still won’t fire. Looking for any other pointers or experience with these saw that could lead to getting this thing running.

Thanks, Zack

I’ll try it again this evening. I’ve sprayed starting fluid in it the couple different times I’ve tried so it’s been tough to tell us it’s from the carb or from the spray.
