Yes it did shifted east eye went over us in central fl it was a wicked ride we are ok the wife kid and dog moms ok at her olace sev friends ok alot of us have no power.i will fire generator at first light and check the yard and asses it thanx.lived here my wholeife this was the worst.its pretty windy and gusty still

Great to hear that you are OK. A news blurb I read this morning said that half the state was without power. Other reports of looters as well. I'd be ready for those scumbags -- they would not leave this property on their 2 legs. May you and your family be safe. Thanks for posting.

I'm in Spring Hill 50 miles north of Tampa.I will be back there this after noon.But the cameras at my house in Tampa aren't showing any signs of damage or flooding so far.The tide surge will continue for several more hours.

I'm glad the storm surge hadn't been as bad as I feared it would be so far. I was really worried seeing how low it got ahead of the eye.

Problem with the surge is the wind will hold tide out on the northeast wind.then when wind dies and tide comes back in is were the problem is.jacksonville st augustine and palm coast have alot of flooding
