Hurricane Helene victims

Hey guys, as many of you know the mountain counties of my home state of NC are totally devastated by this hurricane and flood. 600 missing over 150 dead, homes and communities totally gone. The survivors have nothing. Survivors don't know if their families are even alive. They desperately need help. If anyone can donate funds it would be greatly appreciated. Most of this reality hasn’t even been shown by major media…especially from the right, much less the left. Without these brave videographers, nobody would even know, short of those at ground zero. This is 3rd world disaster *s-word.

I can send saws but to whom and how would they even get there? Sheesh…

Did what I could with Samaritan's Purse. I know this group does good efficient work and are sound stewards of the the donations given. Back in '85 my hometown of Roanoke, VA had a catastrophic flood and the Red Cross and other charitable causes really stepped up to help folks. Hoping the folks in the VA and NC state capitols and DC step up their game to provide aid.

I live about 3 miles across the line in TN on 25/70 208.ive got friends in Shelton Laurel and Marshall been wanting to go over and help but I can't get ahold of any of them to find out anything.if you find out anything about helping when you get back message me.all I have is saws,I sold all my equipment.

Well the truth is the truth and those who do not like it can go fuggle off.

Watching people across the country put aside their politics and come together to help each other has been amazing. The lineman from other states leaving their families for im guessing will be weeks at a time. Farmers from other states loading up their trucks and trailers with feed, hay, whatever to help the farms or people with animals in need. Just the average joe with a gooseneck buying pallets of water and hitting the road to go help anyone who needs it. All the little community donation centers setup across the US to send whatever they can. Even the people trying to rescue or help people with their personal helicopters until the tyrants stepped in and threatened to start arresting. The truckers finding a way to get supplies into these destroyed areas if possible. The pack mule/horse teams making their way with supplies to areas that have no roads anymore. People loading up their own equipment and going to help with the cleanup. The list of selflessness goes go on and on. None of these people know if they're going to help a Democrat or Republican and none of them care at this point. Its a human helping a human in need.

But before all this happened, i can't believe we as a nation sit around and fight one another all day long over politicians who care nothing about us. The idolatry and cult like behavior displayed towards these District of Criminals scumbags these days is sickening. None of them and i mean NONE of them truly give a fuk about any of us. Politicians are not your friend. They are not your buddy. Just because they pretend to fight each other when the cameras are around or say what you want to hear does not mean one or the other is on your side. Its called a UNIPARTY for a reason and they act like it. Quit treating their words like gospel and pay attention to their actions. Tells ya everything you need to know about them.
