A couple things I have:

First up, a good used OEM 288 crankshaft. The rod bearing is rock solid.You could use this in a 281, 288, and a 394. CLAIMED.

Next up - good used 395 crank. Same deal - rod bearing is rock solid, bearing mounting shoulders are good and within spec, keyway is good. CLAIMED.

The later 181, 281, and 288 cranks were all the same. The early 181s used a 6202 bearing on the flywheel side so the shoulder of the
early cranks is smaller to accommodate the smaller bearing. Dimension-wise, the 281/288 cranks are the same sizing (width, mounting
points, throws, stroke, small end of the rod) as the 394 cranks.

There is a green strap among the yellow ones and a yellow strap among the green ones.

Anyway, I could say that the tie straps are the same, except for the paint. Or I could say that this is to give the recipient a choice which chains to use them on.

A little steel wool makes them 'universal'!

Ok im back with some goodies. Dont forget i have the wild thing and 2 sl9's back twards the start of this thread.

NOS. This is i believe from research is same as D009. .058gauge. DL i dont know but its 16". Hard nose. Everything lines up. Mocked up on my builder 562 to show the severity of its badassesness. Thats a word, i just made it up

Might be a nice collector piece. Brake works, killer comp. for a lil saw. I have not touched it and its really clean. Nice GB bar and OEM sword cover.
