Ok I am posting what I have already given to @Manofstihl661 . He was talking about his son and a project saw. I mentioned I had an echo.

I know this is not how this normally works. But I am giving it away and I heard a kid was involved so I told him it was his and his sons if they wanted it. His son was so excited to see this dirty old saw and he said he was so excited to start cleaning it off.

This saw was going on this thread whether they wanted it or not. I have had it for a few years and have come to realize that no time in the near future am I going to put it back together so I want to pass it on to see it out back to life. I have resisted the urge to part it out a few times because I know it's a runner. I just had no desire to out money into it not needing it or would I ever use it.

@Manofstihl661 I hope y'all have fun with it and get it running again. I am happy to give the young guy a project to work on.

That sounds great!! Yea and I can see that happening with the current project. Especially with the level of excitement that he has over this one! Haha.

He has been trying to get me to buy an echo for forever...now he has his own! I’ll supervise of course...but I don’t know if that’ll help or hurt [emoji23]. Either way first order of business is he will be on clean up duty.

And it looks like it’ll clean up real nice too

It should. I don't think it was that dirty when I got it and was messing with it. I let it sit forever under a tarp. It looks to be leaking bar oil, and then I put it in that tub I sent pictures of . Then set it on top of my wood stacks in my open air shed. So it has been collecting dirt and dust for the last few years. Which is probably why it looks so dirty.

My other saws sit in that wood box that the saw is sitting on top of. That wood box is the box that the parts come in on a Glider kit. One of my loggers bought a few of them a couple years ago from Freightliner. It had things I think like the intercooler pipes and stuff like that I think. I asked for the box and reinforced it and use it to keep my saws in. It doesn't leave the shed just keeps weather and 90% of the dust off them. The box is huge. Like 3ft by 5ft by 4ft deep.

Alright boys I'm gonna do one of my knives for the thread. Itll be one of similar design to what I've been posting about, I'm gonna do a drawing again. Whatever number you end up as you post your name to a list is your number. I'll probably have my kids draw the number and post a short video showing the winner. Now, the winner most likely want receive knife until after Christmas because I'm around 3 weeks turn around at the moment, but you'll get it asap. I'll also need help the list format, can someone set that up please? Start signing up boys. Merry Christmas!
