One of our felines lost her prey, pup sniffed it out hiding under some large gravel, then lost it herself into a dense flower bush.
She was persistent and caught the mouse, gave it a neck nibble.






I did not allow her to eat it, she tends to vomit from eating field mice.

My dog will wait for a cat to get a mouse, and then muscle in to steal it. If I'm there I grab him by the collar so the cat can enjoy the spoils of the hunt.
