I need some help with older chain spinner, breaker, grinder, and Windsor chain. I picked up this set up today. It's an older Oregon breaker and spinner, made in USA, an EFCO grinder,2 extra disc, and a 1/4 -1/3 roll off Windsor chain. Also the steel table its mounted on. It all needs a good clean up. I will need an anvil and punch for the breaker and a few parts for the spinner (new anvils, roller guide wheel) but I can't make out the model numbers. Also haven't found a model number on the grinder, it is made in Italy guessing Tecomec. If you guys can help me out with what parts I may need

I do believe those are the ones I have. That price list is almost the same age as me.

Very cool....made properly before the China revolution.

I seen that this morning on craigslist. Glad it went to someone who could use it.

Think i found the model number FL136. Motor and bearings sound very smooth. All I need for it is adressing stone and the plastic gauge. I think I got a good deal for a change. This one may even pay me back in a timely manner.

Pay you back or not, it's still really handy being able to add or lose a link at home.

I've got the same spinner . The anvils MFG supply sells will work but they need just a tad cut of or at least on mine they did .They offer two sizes, small 3/8 and 1/4" and standard .404 and 3/8. $5.99 a pop .

I have the same breaker and spinner. They both work very well. Fortunately I haven't had to get any spare parts yet.

That grinder looks pretty similar to my Carlton branded tecomec.

As always lots of good info here!

FYI - the stens branded anvil works great for the breaker. Don't get the adjustable anvil it's too fat. I milled about 1/8" off the one I bought and it still wouldn't work.

Great chain tools to have!

One advantage of the name brand tools is that they are better supported down the road. Contact Oregon directly if you have trouble finding the parts for the spinner and breaker: 1-800-223-5168, or technicalservices@oregonproducts.com. They are usually pretty good with that kind of stuff.

The parts for the Oregon / Tecomec / Efco / etc., style grinders are also widely available, as noted, since they are the same across a wide number of brands and models. If all that you need is the silicon carbide dressing brick, you can often find that at a local hardware store / home center. You can buy a larger 'Carborundum' brand one for about the same price (and break it down by placing it in a vice and hitting it with a mallet). If you are also looking for spare wheels, etc., then it might be worth placing an order.

Any guesses on this spinner/breaker setup? One person said it looked like an old Windsor set. Can't find any info so far. It could use some punches, anvils, etc.

Not sure how I missed the last two posts, but yes, the spinner was complete though the anvil was pretty well worn down. No punch came with the breaker. With some help, I figured out that Oregon parts were what I needed. All good to go now. Thanks.
