Take it back. I have four? Harbor Freight jacks. Two aluminum ones that get left outside all the time, an older black and grey three ton from the scrapyard and a never one and none leak. Something isn’t right but it’s not your problem to fix.

I have their Daytona 3 ton low profile jack and never had any issues

I have same one got tired of dealing with it, add about oz of atf to swell the seals and fill rest with 80w90 gear oil been working great now for a year lol
Can you please tell me which plug to remove to fill with oil?

Look at the cylinder and there should be one on the top. Don’t open the two next to each other. Can you post a picture of the jack in front of the handle

The one with the Phillip head is the fill. Add some atf if you are going to try to fix it instead of return it.
