Happy Thanksgiving all. Tradition was broken and we weren't able to spend t-day with my parents because of a covid scare and extreme high risk to them. But we did spend the afternoon with a family of friends that might as well be family to us.
No regerts, we all ended up fat and happy tonight with a lot to be thankful for. Hope you all had a wonderful day as well.

Happy Thanksgiving folks! Asked my butcher years ago what the secret to a perfect turkey was… his answer was break it down so the dark meat can cook longer. I haven’t cooked a whole bird since.
