Hi All, if I increase the size of the main jet will I get more fuel, even though I haven’t done anything with the emulsion tube?

Well, we are trying to convert a FairBanks 1 1/2 HP 1 lung throttle governed engine to a new style carburetor, it was fitted with a Flo Jet and at one time it did run , ( I never saw it) Flo Jet leaks and we want to get rid of it and need something compatible, we will
Modify a manifold , my figures show a 50 cu I engine , the factory original carburetor/fuel mixer is long gone although they are still available, for a price. Pics of Flo Jet. Any suggestions.

That carburetor looks a lot like some of the updraft carburetors that Briggs used over the years.

It definitely is that type of carb, we are trying to get away from it, has a history of leaking, can’t seem to find any spec’s on it

You'll have to make an adapter to change from vertical mount bolts to horizontal if you're going to put a Honda style carb on it.

I have a Honda GX 160 mounted on it now, but i think it’s to small.
