Looks really good! I've always read that HK's are alot more challenging than other homebrew gun projects. Is that one blowback or roller locked?
Correct, 9mm roller delayed. The clone is a MKE, imported by Century.
I do have a few CETME C parts kit I have not yet assembled.
I plan to use the MP5 for steel challenge. A soft shooting roller delayed PCC without spending 4k on a JP5. I have set up different triggers for different uses. The top left binary trigger will have to go away before Jan 1, 2025 due to new state laws. Top right is the original trigger, worked over. I thought it would be fun to put an AR trigger guts in an MP5. I machined a aluminum block and cut up a cheap cetme housing to fit it to the mp5.

Anybody have experience with the Colt-ish Armscor/Rock Island .38 revolvers? We sell them in the low $200's at my shop. For a cheap gun they have a surprisingly good trigger pull and use late model D-frame grips. I picked out a model 200 with a close barrel/cylinder gap and good lockup and put it on layaway.

What seems to be the good sight system for the AR.
16" flattop.

Something for fast on target with no thought.
My eyes are getting older so iron sights are harder to use quickly in low light.
Any suggestions?

I like the Trijicon ACOGs. Very nice and clear image.

Always wanted to try one of these
Taurus made these for the Brazilian military and police
The Philippines military and police use them also they weren't imported until nowScreenshot_2024-10-02-21-13-59-491.jpg
These are contract overrun and won't be offered in the us long taurus said.

It was 500.00 a few months ago
Looks like hundreds of other polymer pistols but has the wilhelm bubits action I always liked the steyrs and caracal he designed
Locks up on the rear of the barrel not a browning design
Rk has a 4.99 shipping deal going on
So this was 255.00 no tax on guns in WV.

I was not disappointed very well made pistol very tight and smooth magazine rattles some might try an oring over the mag body
Multiple back straps to customize feels great much better feeling than a glock and much better trigger than a glock as well to me
Very accurate once i got used to the da style trigger at 20 ydsIMG_20241004_163113.jpgIMG_20241004_163047.jpg
Very nice pistol case you don't see those much anymore IMG_20241004_173903.jpgIMG_20241004_175504.jpg

For fast you want low or no magnification. My wife's AR wears SIG romeo, has shake awake. Basically the dot turns on if the rifle moves. Battery life is supposed to be 50,000 hours. There are many different dot or reticle sights. I recommend the motion activated ones though. I have some vortex the require you to turn them on and off, and have found them dead, so auto off and on is my now go to feature.

Try one if you get a chance
IMG_20241008_154940.jpg
Really impressed me with the build quality and trigger
I liked the g2c g3 g3c series but eventually sold them off for the gx4 series i like better and the tx .22 and tx .22 compacts that are never leaving.IMG_20241005_150845.jpg
I fixed the slight rattle with a thin o ring
Just annoying nothing to bother function.

Yeah you sure can't beat the price. 👍
I have and have had a variety of pistols over the past 40 year's
And these modern taurus's stand right with any of them i don't have any experience with their early polymer pistols but the pt100 .40 from the 90s was excellent
Many of my friends have taurus a variety and no one has had any issues
Lots of tx .22 and tx .22 compacts
My friend runs ccw classes and loans out a tx.22 a g3c and gx4 for those that don't have a gun yet
Many thousands of rounds through them no issues
I've put a lot the mine no issues just dead primers occasionally no mechanical jams.
Can't believe the price on these they feel much like the echelonIMG_20241008_153813.jpg
Really like the czp10c they are only 399.00 now these are getting replaced by the cz nocturne series.

Markdown on the P10 is probably because it's a non optic cut model, seems like a trend lately to go all optic ready.
You sure it's not just the P07 that's getting replaced by the P09c nocturne?
That would make more sense as the P07 and P09c nocturne are pretty much the same gun, other than the optic cut, most likely just getting their naming conventions all on the same page. The P07/9's are hammer and the P10's are striker, doesn't seem like they'd get rid of the whole striker lineup.
Or maybe they'll call all the polymer optic ready models 'nocturne' so will be a P10c nocturne?

You're right I didn't pay attention to what the nocturne line is.
The kid at rural king says the p10 series sells good
I really like the p10f I'll get one eventually.

Their ammo is on the sales floor not locked up.

Because we are soft on crime, this will only get worse unfortunately.
