Did a job during the summer for a very old couple.

The man had dementia.

The daughters got us to come and cut trees because apparently this senile old man was out with the chainsaw every day cutting whatever he could.

They also said he was always in the shed welding bits to tge tractor whenever he could.

Anyways, we found this in the shed.

20250806_134335.jpg

It was an open shed with no door or lock.
No gate on the entrance to the property.

Great storage, especially for a senile old man 😆😆, at least it wasn't loaded.

Every day we came (it took us 3 days) he didn't know who we were.

Every day he had to fix the same problem on the tractor. This problem consisted of cutting the link arms with a grinder, welding them back together, them breaking at the weld and then him going off to buy new ones.

Every time he bought the same ones.
Every time they were wrong.
And Every time he had to "fix" them.

I dont know how he's still allowed to drive.

Bit of a long post but its fire arm related.

I found a star 9mm pistol early 80s model completely rusted up
At my friend's unheated shop he'd lost track of it in the late 80s thought it was stolen but it was just at the back of his work bench under junk
We soaked it in wd40,barsol and kerosene it loosened up and he shot it again.
My friend worked at a junkyard and they would fight to search cars first because often guns or knives were found
He got a Ruger p85 9mm the other guy found a extra mag but couldn't find the pistol.

Mebbe you should take it home with you for safekeeping! Looks like a good bird and bunny gun.

I visited County Adare, Ireland in 2014 and really liked it. The countryside is really beautiful, and everybody we dealt with was super nice and seemed to actually be fans of the USA. They especially got excited about the fact that the fact that I live in the same place as the Kentucky Derby.

Those CZ P-10's are really nice guns, we sold alot of them at the shop I worked at.

So I have a gen. 3 Glock 17 lower that needs an upper. Anybody know of a good one at a reasonable price? Don't care about RMR cut, fancy colors or contours, anything like that. Just needs to be well made, Glock parts compatible, and work well with lead bullets. My gunsmith says that KM Tactical is very good in his experience. 3CR Tactical has some uppers I really like and they always respond to my questions quickly. I'm not against used OEM, but they tend to cost as much or more than a decent new aftermarket and there is a good chance the Glock barrel won't get along with my lead bullets.

There is no such place as "county Adare"
You probably mean Adare, in county Limerick.
Id like to visit californee some day, im told Pearl Harbour and texas are there.

Jokes aside, adare is a nice town but very busy. Ive driven through it s few times but never wanted to stop.

Huh, could have swore I saw a sign driving in that said County Adare. Anyhoo, you're way off base. Pearl Harbor surrounds the Statue of Liberty, which is why the Russians were so keen to attack it. Texas seceded from California and moved 1500 miles east. B-)
Lol good response.

Picked these up new in box never shotIMG_20260226_140726074_HDR.jpg
I was out of work a couple years ago and sold my .22 compact smith and have been looking for another plus
I already had several extra mags and a holster
IMG_20260226_142904474_HDR.jpg
Now I have all my favorite .22 pistols
Also I have an original tx.22 and a new tx .22 toro
But didn't bring them
IMG_20260226_142919317.jpg
I couldn't pass up another CZ p10c just excellent pistols
Germany just adopted the same pistol as the p13 for their military sidearm.
I set up at 20yds and I hung a 8" going to the right just to check point of impact for all the different pistols
.22s varied wildly in poa and poi
The CZ p10f and p10c were dead on with 124gr jhp and fmj from ammo inc. which is quite hot ammo but out of business now.
Shame I really liked it very accurate with the xtp but some had issues with it.

Have seen the P-10 referred to as 'a better Glock'. They seem to be gaining momentum.

Wow, you're on a roll! You might want to start mining your backstop for lead, I would be glad to buy it from you.

Have seen the P-10 referred to as 'a better Glock'. They seem to be gaining momentum.
I have and have had a few glocks 19 22 23 and 30s
For many years close to 20 still have the 23 and 30s
No issues with any of them just never liked the ergos the trigger or the sights.
The ruger rxm is a great improvement over any of the glocks I've owned.
Of the countless polymer pistols out there I've tried many
The CZ p10 series to me personally are the most comfortable with great triggers far ahead of any glock i've had much better ergos, grip texture and grip angle.
I just shoot them more accurately.
I shot cz75s in competition for many years the p10 series closely match and exceed those ergos being adjustable grip inserts.
Love my 2.0 m&ps and shield plus in particular
And have had a HK usp I didn't like and have shot many of the walthers and canik pistols
I really like the springfield echelon but not enough to buy one.
Those CZs just suit me
My second favorite is still the arex delta just another excellent striker fired pistol
They are only 229.00 on classic firearms right now
That's an exceptional deal.
