Today was a awesome day! 62 degrees here in Wisconsin. Went to my land near Westfield and cut some wood with my 8 year old grandson.
I worked out a couple of the saws I have bought over the winter. Had to check to see if they worked, they were Craigslist buys. First was a 2001 Husqvarna 350 that I got for $60.00 and the lady didn't know if it would run, checked it all over, fuel and bar oil, and it fired right up! A little tuning on the carb and it ran great. The 2nd was a 357xp that I got for $150.00 from a guy in Michigan. Same thing with this saw as well. I cut alot of wood many years ago and got re-aquainted through Another Site and really glad to be here on OPE! I have learned so much and caan't wait to get a few of the saws in my signature ported!
The pic is of my grandson and the 1st of 3 stacks that we cut in a couple hours. He even used my muffler moddedIMG_0445.JPG 025, with my help of course, and loved it! Some great memories made today

Looks like you guys had fun. Not going to lie though, it felt hot as balls today . I'm right up the road in the Point area.

I sweat a lot today. It shouldn't be like this yet, everything is turning green pretty early. I was getting pestered by bugs today.

Are you guys up north springing up early as well?

yep, last weekend I took down a good sized maple. It remember marveling at all the buds on the limbs and at the same time the sap was running like water.
