Looking for one for the lawn tractor. Good quality that will take some bangin' around in the truck. Guessing that Northern Tool will have a decent one. Thanks.

You have any cordless battery tools?
I’ve been using the Milwaukee cordless for years. No issues. I know dewalt makes one too. I do a lot of greasing.

If you prefer manual or manual is needed for your application, Lincoln guns have alway done me well. I alway change the pipe to a hose for ease of access. Piston grip or full lever

Northern has both.

How coincidental, my battery powered Lincoln had 2 dead batteries this morning and I decided I need a manual grease gun to carry on the chipper so I always have grease. Looked on Amazon and figured I’d better do some research. You guys are reading my mind! So do the little one hand grips work ok? They look kinda handy

I agree. On both!

You can't find a better manual gun than a Lincoln in my opinion. They are built well.

For an electric, I'd go for whatever shares the same tool battery you already have first. If you don't have any battery tools yet then go with the Milwaukee.

The pistol grips work well if the grease fittings are free and you don't have a ton of greasing to do. They will wear out you hand pretty quick greasing a mower spindle! The lever guns can produce much more pressure if needed and don't kill your grip.

Get a lock n lube coupler. They are your best friend on any grease gun.

For greasing his equipment my dad swears by Alemite pistol grip grease guns, he keeps one stashed on pretty much every machine he has.

Mine came from the John Deer /James River Supply. If you run food grade grease it is clear and not so messy.; it was on sale. Pistol grip, classic hose and fitting.

We always used manual guns in all flavors. In the late 1970's Dad bought a 5 gallon bucket greaser. That thing was a pain in the ass. We went back to regular manual guns. Then probably in the early 1990's the local dozer contractor was bragging about his Lincoln cordless. Well Dad bought one. It was an epic piece of cow crap. It would get airlocked constantly. I just used manual ones. Then in about 2015 I bit the bullet and bought a 18V Milwaukee. After I did I thought maybe it was a dumb purchase to spend the extra coin on 18V over 12V. Well the (2) 18V 2.0 batteries it came with crapped out so now I use the bigger batteries from the other tools. As for a grease gun I am pretty satisfied with it. Of course it is bulky but at least it works.

It is a little bulky, that’s true, but I’m very impressed with how Milwaukee set this grease gun up. With the two different speed selections, and that rotating wheel with the stroke counts. I added the release valve and I could have sworn that mine tried grabbing my package once or twice ……… maybe you can show yours a little sprinkling of that Bill G love, and it too will probably cause you to grow a little ???

Er, I mean it too will grow on you ????

That is funny. This morning I had to go see a new urologist. She was a very attractive mature woman. Of course she went through the normal questions and then it came time for the physical exam. I dropped my pants and wished I could have grown a little........
