I always ask to see a concealed carry permit before agreeing to meet for a private deal or sale, if they already went through the fbi background check they are less likely to be a douchbag

I got complacent and made some bad decisions. Number one was not asking for ID first thing and number 2 was meeting in an unfamiliar location. This happened April of last year around 530 in the afternoon so still plenty of daylight. I had a 20 min discussion with the both individuals about firearms. One returned to the car for the money and as soon as he got in the other snatched the gun and ran to the car. I backed up and turned and rammed them in the parking lot. They got by me and took off and I gave chase. They put 4 rounds into my grill with their own gun, the one I was selling was unloaded. They tried to make a left at a stop sign. I never slowed down, hitting them in the rear drivers quarter af somewhere north of 85 mph. It spun them 180 and ripped off the rear tire, quarter panel and trunk lid. My truck continued through the intersection and into an abandoned block building. Lots of lessons learned, number one being to stop being dumb and complacent lol

Used to be Toyota before two d bags tried to snatch and run a gun they were supposed to be buying. That adventure ended up with a high speed chase that totaled their car, my truck, and landed all 3 of us in the hospital and now they are both serving 5-10 years in the state pen. You’re only about an hour from me, a fact I didn’t know until recently. I’m hoping to make the next get together at your place and hopefully learn something if I can retain any info. I’m hoping to port that 288 soon so hopefully I can pick some brains here. I rebuilt helicopters in the Marines, and I install and tune engines now for wake boats, but I’ve never been inside a saw more than just a p&c swap. Time to change that

just long enough to get through C school in 07. My first duty station was MCAS Futenma in Oki, and I deployed out of there with the 31st MEU and HMM-262. Then I spent 2 years at Miramar and deployed out of there with the 13th MEU is support of OEF consolidation III-III
