Here is a pic of a tiller customer dropped off.

Reminds me of the dealership customer that expected us to work on their car with a 40 gallon trash bag full of dirty diapers in the back seat on a 95 degree day.

I decided to run the 8hp Tecumseh with a huge dose of Seafoam before taking the carb off. After about 2 hours run time, she's almost back to normal. Runs off choke and even idles. Still runs a little rough and the governor can't keep up all the way in thick grass, but it's getting there. Surprisingly, this is the first time I've ever had any kind of carb problems out of this machine in the 11 years I've had it. The Bolens push mower with B&S L head I got at the same time has had two diaphragm sets in that time.

The only issues I have ever dealt with on vintage Tecumseh was changing needle valves due to softer material in the seats or valve. I have had good luck. Just my thinkin.

Junior, You have a very impressive collection of Lawn Boys. I to love the older
ones and own a few older brick tops and Butter Cups. Kool old mowers.

oologahan, You also have a fantastic collection. Those tractors are very nice.
I have two Bolens, One is a 1800 Hydro and the other a H1502 Hydro made
by Iseki.
Some day i'd like to get me a 2000 Hydro and an H23.

Thanks. There are quite a few members that mess with em but don't want to admit it. LOL. If you need any engine parts let me know I may have it.

Thanks Junior, I'll remember that when I ever get back to working on them.
Been big into vintage chainsaws and that has taken most of my spare time
as well as a full restoration of a 1970 Ford Torino 429 scj Drag Pack car.

I have been buying old parts off of old shops and one of the members had come buy and dug through some boxes and found some old chainsaw parts also. I was concentrating on old homelites but we traded for a old john deere chainsaw so now i'm switchen in the kitchen. I have a lot of vintage echo some pioneer and no tellin what else. Let me know if I can help.

No the engine is a Clinton VS700. The tag on the mower is almost completely gone, but I know the engine was made from 1951-1954. I have looked everywhere for info and have come up with nothing on FM push mowers, the also made riding mowers and I have seen a couple of them on EBay.

That is a very rare mower Kysawman. I have been on the net for 2 hours so far, no luck. If I can be involved in the new life let me know. Those 4 cycle air breathers might not be right but might work if you want one. That is super rare. I forgot the history on that one. lets hear it.
You already have been! The gasket set I got from you was the final piece to make it run again. I have totally struck out on info on this mower. It is a big mystery. Thanks again for the gasket set!

I was expecting a flymo! That was a chuckle for sure!

Have a flymo haven't started it for 20 years or so. Its neglected for sure. Did get it new early 90's-ish.

Well, all the mowers in my fleet are running good except for the Troy Bilt and John Deere riders. The Troy Bilt GT has a no start problem, I think it's a wire or the ignition switch. The JD needs the transaxle replaced, which I have purchased but haven't gotten around to doing it just yet.

Ran all the Murrays today and they did great. That Seafoam is some good stuff, they just run better every time i use it. I'm going to put off any carb work until they truly need it.
