Randy's 261 is more impressive to me than the 346s. They can be leaned on more bucking like a bigger saw

Yep. It was an MS660 that Grandpatractor had at a GTG.

After running that saw I was hooked.

Speaking of 261cm-vws, I finally got back to work breaking mine in. I broke my ankle on Feb 13th, so the process was interrupted. Got my cast off two weeks ago, but haven't done much sawing yet. @Redbull661 brought over a couple of TM661s last week. After I had eased back into sawing with his gentle beginner-level saws I figured I was ready to try out the 261 again .

I can report that it's still a pleasure to use. Plenty of power to buck white oak up to 12" with 3/8 chain and not feel like I was waiting on the saw.
