Tariffs aren’t an excuse but an increase in cost of doing business just like someone adding more taxes to property or anything else. It’s a way of adding an additional tax to you without calling it a tax outright. If you make a manufacturers parts go up because they come from all over the world the end product gets more expensive end of story. Everyone lives in a world wide economy now and has for a long time so if we charge a company extra money on a part because it’s not made here someone gets to absorb the costs and it’s not going to be the manufacturing company. Soon enough we’ll be like Australia who’s paying 2000$ for a 60cc saw because of duties ect. No matter how bad some people want everything made in the states by us it will never happen again partly because we don’t have the materials or manpower to make it all and too many people who don’t make a lot of money have to go the cheap route when buying stuff. Is what it is and both parties are to blame. But this is my last response on this because there will be various opinions on it but definitely isn’t just one side hosing the general public.
