I know most people dislike the clones. I like them and believe they have their purpose. Don't get me wrong, I prefer OEM vs clone but these guys are fun to *f-word with. Here's my "pro"
Modifications +upgrades
1• authentic walbro hd 17
2• OEM fuel line(the weird green lines!) as well as OEM impulse&Intake. Even the inner and out carburetor to boot rings are OEM.
3• OEM crankshaft, bearings and crank seals (yes I know at that point why not make the rest OEM. I had the parts on hand lol)
4• ditched the open port farmer tech cylinder and piston for meteor. Pop up meteor piston (OEM piston rings and bearing)
5• fully ported cylinder which I lowered down to .020.
6• gutted muffler which I welded the original Opening completely shut and then added dual 1/2 inch pipes.
7• OEM 460 oiler plus 460 large clutch cover.
8• obviously color change to the "carbon fiber"
Then tied it off with a 20 inch light bar. The chain is an archer titanium. Which is a pretty decent chain.i Normally have a Stihl semi skip on it.
I'll get more pictures of it as well as a video of it running at a later time. It's been pissing down rain here lately

No shame! Definitely a way to learn and try new stuff when the overhead is not that high!

This is the 6th one I've ported. Only difference is this one is a clone and it's my own. The other ones where 1 036 pro 2,360s and 2 OEM and obviously this 361 clone. I know the 361 is Alot different than the the 036/360 but they share similar model numbers lol. When I did the first 361 It was weird seeing cylinder extensions on a Stihl lol. I'm actually working on a 034 av right now.....damned piston crown looks like an oreo! The exhaust port was coated in asphalt tar?!? 😂 Serious carbon build up on it. I'm not sure but why but I'm having a hard time adding the picture of the Oreo l.

Kept the stock parts except the carb, and used the impukse line instead of the stupid boot setup. Made a throttle linkage for it.
Squish, base……I really like the saw, but wish it had more bottom end. Did a regular one with a big bore, it seems better, but haven’t had time to play with my toys, too busy doing others.

Seafoam will help break that down and make it easier to clean!
Wd-40 and the large brass cup brush from harbor freight (the 1/8 shank obviously 🤣) on my foredom is my go to for piston crowns and combustion chambers. I change over the the pen type for exhaust ports that are too small for the cups.

If you are talking about the carbon fiber dipped it's got an open port cylinder.... It's decent but more of a home owners in terms of power.. the one I've got now pulls a 25 inch full chisel full comp completely burried in white oak.

I don't really get much time to play with my own toys! I'm usually playing with other people's toys (tis what she proclaimed!!)
