The old thread is slow to post.

It's the Reddit links, they load slow and make a page heavy and unresponsive!
I noticed that in the original thread.

I had to refresh this page twice just to leave this post and I still can't scroll up and down without the page hanging up.

Just saying.

ive never been able to view or see the Reddit stuff, I just get “loading Reddit submission “ that never loads or if I click it I just get an error.

You are better off without the Reddit stuff loading!

This page crashed four times while I was trying to reply, no other thread on OPE does that for me.
I think it's because the Reddit videos on a single page all try to play simultaneously.

Same here. Very seldom can I actually watch the reddit vids. Most times I just skip over them
