Factory workers liked to play baseball after work, so they set the clocks forward so they could play after work. (Before lighted ballparks obviously).

I researched it once. The biggest supporter of going forward was the golf industry. So people could play after work. I personally don't like going forward. I don't like daylight at 9pm in the summer time. That's bedtime for me.

Heard all the b.s from kids saftey & it benefits the farmers, years ago oregon voted to get rid of it along with Washington, but being on the west coast we play follow the biggest looser, so they won't get rid of it till California does it so they could be the same. Bunch of diks

I live on a time zone border, and its hard enough to deal with by itself, add in the twice a year time change and I get all messed, somedays I have to leave my house at the same time I'm supposed to arrive on a jobsite, it's weird, leave home at 7:15 for a 7:00 appointment, I screw it up all the time and arrive an hour early quite often, I've been here my whole life and I just can't get it 100% figured out.

A guy at church did that one year. He went to bed and turned the clock back 1 hour. When his wife went to bed she turned it back an hour too.
