Got one on the bench that has a Chinese carb, can’t tune it to save my life. Looking for an OEM Zama, thanks!

Well, I bought a rebuild kit for the Zama and gaskets did not match up. I know Zama has a better rep than the ones on amazon…

I've given up on aftermarket carbs and doing them myself if it isn't obvious what the problem is. New or professionally rebuilt oem from now on.

Are the Walbro and Zamas on new Stihls and Huskies having the same failure rate as aftermarket Amazon carbs?

Walbro carburetors are overall much better quality than Zama. This is mainly due to the vast difference in the rubber quality, which means that Walbro has almost zero issues with check valves and accelerator plunger o-rings.
