Fs240c kombi unit

OK so I have a damaged fs240c where the shaft has snapped and also have a km85 with a damaged engine, missing carb and missing throttle cable. Just wondering if it's possible to fit the km shaft to the fs engine? I would try but the fs is at work and the km is at home. Has anyone else tried or would it be OK with the power?

Also do they do a loop handle throttle for fs240c?

I have inquired about this same idea with a fs250, but many people say that the drive shaft it bigger which might be the issue in your case. Let us know what you find out.
