Hey everyone I have I old.fs120 stihl and I wanna re-ring it when I search I see diff...cc..for that model...any idea what ones I need or where to look on the trimmer

I think you have the old 2-stroke version. There is also a newer version of the FS 120 with stratified scavening engine (2-Mix from 2016) in some markets availible. Both of these FS 120`s have a 35mm piston but different piston rings. Have a look what your serial number is and let me know. Both versions have the same displacement.

For the old 2 stroke version you need piston rings 4119 034 3001 (35mm*1,5mm).

Thanks.for the reply where would I find it on this one it's like 20 years old prolly I hate to get rid of it ..also what should the compression read on it

You`ll find the serial number here on the side where the muffler is on the bottom of the engine housing. There are no numbers for the compression.
