Didn't know until I brought it home. I think it's for a 261/262. Know a guy that's getting ready to close his doors and unload his stuff. A lot of ,well junk. But I'll go back for another look when it gets warmer. The jug has an HD120 carb and is 48mm.
Definitely looks like a 262 jug. Air filter holder confirms it along with the 48MM. It's an early one also cause it doesn't have a deco on it. Think the deco appeared sometime in 1993. I see it's a Kolbenschmidt too, which is pretty rare on a 262.
I agree with Bob- it's a later 262 jug. I found an identical one about four months ago in a local shop's dumpster, along with a whole 359 bottom end and a good MS-460 tank.
