Flooding 046 and some GFY's

I had a new 661 here that flooded bad when sitting or when used over 80 degrees. It was unusable. I polished the needle seat with a q tip and ever so slightly lowered the metering lever. It stopped flooding after that.
Mothers mag polish? Used it for lots of gun parts...

I used a small amount of the reddish colored polishing compound that came with my dremel tool.

Saw is still good. No fuel puddled inside of it, popped on 2 pulls and ran on third this morning.

Maybe my last GFY is what did it.

Sounds like you resolved it, congrats!

I remember I got so frustrated with one saw I just changed the whole tank handle, don't know if it was the tank vent, or fuel line, or impulse line, but the problem was resolved!

So far.
I thought the issue was resolved a few weeks ago, only it decided to come back and haunt me.
Time will tell.
