Finally: Homelite Score

I didn't know exactly where to put this, so I just put it here and the mods can drop it where it needs to go, if anywhere.

Well it has been several years but I finally found a museum quality saw, and here it is:

It even came with tools and an owners manual. Original. In the wrapper. Only thing not original is the saw blade. Now I need to figure out how to remove the minor surface rust on the case.

There's a liquid rust remover that may be good for that. Evapo-rust or somthing to that nature

Thank you. I am tickled with it. I know it is a crime to not have started it, but I need to read the owners manual to familiarize myself with the machine. I will take some more photos and put it up.

The guy who sold it to me spend quite a bit of time and money to make sure it would get here just like it looks. He double boxed it, there was a 2" space around the inside box which he filled with cut slabs of styrofoam and large bubblewrap. The case was enclosed with more large bubblewrap and styrofoam inside the inner box, and the saw was wrapped in the bubblewrap. I told him I'd pay extra for packing, and he packed it well!

That is the nicest one I've ever seen we still use the cut off wheel version but it's nowhere as nice as yours congrats on a rare one.
