I love the spikes and bar. I've only ran it a few cuts but I believe the stihl ps chain on oem bar will outcut the 325. But we will see. That's just running off memory. Havnt compared side by side yet.
i dont doubt it, i just like the 325 because of the stiffer bar and its a really common loop of chain. Never timed them but NK works really really well too

Do the Dolmars appear thinner after the owner consumes five or six beers?

No, because most owners couldn't lift them after downing a 6 pack of beers
Are parts still around for the older Sachs Dolmar saws? I had a gentleman ask me if I could/would get his saw back running again, I said I did not know why not, but did not have any direct knowledge either, as they are kinda rare around these parts. Any help in a general sense would be appreciated, as I would like to have a better answer next time I talk to him. And no, he did not give me a model number, that sure would have helped a lot, will have to try and pry it out of him. He did say that the saw sure gave the Stihl guys fits back in the day.

Unless the model has 166 written in it's name, it should be achievable.

Though ajschainsaws went above and beyond in locating me a 166 piston!

There must be a few other members like myself on here who grab them just to have spares.
