I was looking at Oregon's website for new products and saw that theres bars labeled EXL ?, are these the mew reduced weight?

That would be my guess. The Versacut bars are the current reduced weight option for bars up to 24".

That sounds feasible, I just noticed the D176 mount and started to hope they were making it in reduced weight.
