Efco 156?

I talked to Randy about the Efco 156 I have he claims they run after a monkey massage. I was just wondering what yall think about having it ported? I already have a mmws ms360pro should I sell the 156 and go bigger since they're close to the same size or port it? I really want a mmws 661 but the funds ain't up for it.

They do run good as is. Nice cylinder layout to port too.

156 quad port 46mm & 162 quad port 48mm/962 is Efco's best IMO and I do have them. They do run with a little grinding.

I really appreciate any input! Not gonna lie and say I know anything compared to half of you. I will keep trying to learn more. I will say I use my saw to heat my home its not just a fun toy for me. Glad I have a resource to help me do it better!

I will say it's been a great saw.. only issue I had was the air filter cover bolt didn't strip the threaded sleeve came loose. Ended up loosing the bolt and sleeve. I had a buddy put a fix on it for me it really isn't pretty but she holds. Any thoughts on parts availability down the road?

They didn't! Still available brand new today. Not in the us though. Just bought my 962 =162 a little over 2 years ago.

Well,yeah but here there's no 156 and 162 just the 6500.
